Thread: 2013 Convention Build Status

We got cars going into the paint booth tomorrow. Also got the whole engine set ready to go into the smurf. I hope everything's gonna be ready. Trying for high hp runs in all categories. Fun times and we can't wait for this event.

I just picked up a fresh block from Mazworx. This will be in the race car for the convention. This is not a crazy build, just a fresh motor as the original motor that is still in the car, and has been raced on since 2003, is having oil pressure issues.

If you do go through with this I hope you're going to be running some wide ass wheels. Are those E36 BMW sideskirts on your G20?

i got a coolant line under the intake changed, got the shifter mounted, and got the fuel hose from the hardline to the filter changed, started removing the wheel studs and hubs out of the knuckles - not finished with that yet. Still gonna have a few things here and there, like some electrical and putting the exhaust back together... but much closer

Well, the shoe took a love tap in traffic today. Shouldn't slow me down any, but I won't be winning any beauty contests in Atlanta. =/

they are e36 molds grafted on the p11 sideskirt. I don't think I will have a wider wheel on in time for the convention because I'm pretty picky. Just gonna have to fuck up my smooth ride with some spacers. lol basically i'm doing this months earlier than I wanted to so I'm kinda just rolling with it and seeing what happens. I might show up with bondo everywhere. But hopefully not.

Engine and 6 speed is in the smurf!

And the "other" car literally is getting a few coats of clear right now!!
