Torry - I went to the NY/NJ one and also to the Savannah one a few years ago where we almost got killed by the tornado. :P

Joe - LOL so you guys are teaming up on me now with the guilt trip?? LOL

Chances are I'll wind up going, and my husband will fill another spot in the track day (since this is will be our 1-year wedding anniversary weekend - cool way to celebrate, yes?) with his non-Nissan (if that's all right with you guys, of course!) BUT y'all have to promise not to laugh at my awfully pathetic (lack of) skills on the track and not to laugh at my crappy car.

Oh yeah, Savannah, duh! Well regardless, you need to make it. As for the non-Nissan track registry, I don't think anyone cares. SR20 convention is about SR20 enthusiasts, not necessarily current owners. Heck, I haven't tracked an SR20 car since the 01 convention, and haven't tracked a Nissan at a convention since '10. In fact, I would say the convention isn't even about SR20 enthusiasts. It's more about Nissan enthusiasts who love going to the racetrack...and are in general good fun car people. Of course, you know all this anyway, you're one of us!

All very good points. And technically, Erik HAS had some SR-power in the past, and still owns an S13, so I'd say he counts. :P

We'll register for the track day soon... just gotta figure out how to get my car to pass emissions. Ugh.

I definitely plan on attending this year!

I probably won't have anything to race/run unless I magically build another car by then.
