FYI guys:

AMP does not allow side exit exhausts. Exhaust must exit directly behind the car.

Their "50 feet" measuring is also very subjective and the track owner will pull your car if he feels it is too loud.

Revving a car and taking a reading with a smartphone app is not accurate at all to what level you will make under full load at speed either. In fact, taking a reading by just revving isn't accurate at all to how loud it can be under full load.

Just giving you guys a heads up.

One last thing about sound... atmospheric conditions also play a HUGE role in what the meter will read. I've seen it swing a reading by +/- 3-5dB in situations

So does AMP not allow FFR cobras, lotus 7 kits, and other cars that commonly use a side exhaust?

I think he means a side dump no muffler exhaust, like with a cutoff switch for you drag racers out there. If your car has mufflers you should be able to pass. If you have just tubing after your header probably not.

Looks like i'll be spending money on another exhaust set-up. I only have a resonator.
