Thread: Savannah......or maybe not?!!

There are alot of people that live in the southeast, not just me. The original post was about Savannah Ga, I was simply suggesting places near Savannah and a 1/4 mile track.

Apparently I am not welcome anyway so I guess it doesn't really matter.

I had a good time at the 2009 convention, and I would go to one if it was somewhat near where I live, but I am not in a position to travel to far for something like this.

You are more than welcome, but your opinion is not valid to requirements of convention set by the majority of participants. We know where people are and who will show up. We had a questionaire that you are welcome to fill out with your information and opinion. This is not the place for you to tell us what to do or what the convention should be.

I'm seriously considering locking this up. This should have just been kept quiet until the location was determined. We were somewhat concrete on Savannah again for '13, but other options still need to be weighed in on.

I'm going to ask that the shit smearing cease. When a concrete no-kidding location is set and LOCKED IN, everyone will know about it.

And that is the reason you are getting grief. The people that go to conventions no matter where they are held get a larger voice than those who only come when it's close. There will always be some peoples who come when it's close to them and they will always be welcome.

Hey I hope you come out to wherever we go in 2012 to hang out with us and have a great time. But not just because it's in the southeast, but when it's in the northeast or midAtlantic or wherever it is. Because at the end of the day it's about the people.

Like I said earlier I appologize if I came across wrong, that was never my intent.

You have all have valid points and I understand that putting this together is a big under taking. I appreciate what you do and I know everyone else does as well. I will check back once you have solidified the date and venue.
