Fuck it, this thread should be locked until solid plans are in place and the bickering back and forth can stop.

This, ley the guys work out the detail. Because, the sr scene i believe is split nowadays. Not all constructed on building road racing, but drag racing as well. Its not what you can do in your region, but you bring to the table at the convention. Just sayin

No, they didn't suck without drag racing. They were a lot of fun. But as we progress along life's path we pick up new friends. What kind of community are we if we can't at least try and make sure everyone gets a chance to have fun in their chosen speed addiction?

Just sayin

True. We have a kick ass location in savannah for a kick ass price. Why screw it up? I think it's time for a vote

Drag and Road racing will be catered to equally.... It's a must.

Take a vote on it then. We'll see if an equal amount of people want both. It's the only way to settle this amongst all who post here.
That being said, I don't want to end up on a shitty and or expensive road course just to have a 1/4 mile track near by...

Or, why don't we just make it like the Olympics. One year 1/4 mile and one year Road Course. I personally have ZERO interest in 1/4 racing so like many others... I'll just stay home during the 1/4 mile conventions.

And I don't want to be standing around holding my dick when no one shows up for a road course only convention. Like it or not, the core of this community is heavy into the drag scene. Give that group the stiffy, and guess what?...it's 2010 and the first part of 2011 all over again, which wasn't pretty. It's a new formula that works. It's already been proven. The committee has already decided its part of the program. The 'vote' was already cast in Ohio. You weren't there? Oh.

I was lol, but i prolly didnt stay long enough to vote. But, if i did drag racing all the way. It also lets people communicate with people working on cars or getting ready to go dowm the track.

I think you've total missed the point of the convention. If you think it's about doing activities with cars than I'm not sure if you're getting it. It's about the peeps, mang! Doing shit with your friends! Get it?

And where is the "vote" officially posted here? A nice bar graph, pie chart, hell a f'in stem and leaf plot would do displaying the results.

Were you standing "dick in hand" at the last Savannah convention? What about the DC/VA convention or the last Pocono convention? Did you hold your dick like it's going to fall off at those too? I didn't. I was having a great time!

Bottom line this is a new convention, why are you so afraid to take this to the people here on the forum and let them all decide.

All of the public roads down there are dirt. I learned this from a weekly documentary called "Dukes of Hazard" when I was a kid. You'll need tractor tires if you want to drag the streets.

I'm, personally, looking forward to jumping the chattahoochy river in the SE-L. <>

Yes, all dirt roads here... And every town in PA has a Groundhog named Phil... (Learned that one from a repetitive movie)
