Missing this convention and seeing the pics and vids set the wheels in motion for me with my B13 stay tuned for "Project 600+whp/ready in time for the 2013 convention or bust" I can take my time and do it right both cosmetically and motor and drivetrain wise 100% done the way I envisioned I wanted my B13 to look for all these years (its gonna be different but not over the top). Stay tuned for that.

I had no problem getting to any events, whether it was dinner or track, even to the rock and roll hall of fame.
Shotgun rides on the track are fun as hell, also.
I had rides from 4 or 5 different drivers/cars.
We will be looking for you next year, car or not
Do it!!

I think you miss the point of the convention. We car pooled ALOT. It was all about being with the PEOPLE. Once again I didn't really pay much attention to all the cars. I spent all my time with the people... otherwise the trip isn't worth it.

That's because no one cares about the Miata

J/K. We all have the same cars, and semi-limited amount of mods. It only a matter of time before you have seen it all. People on the other hand always change so it's good to catch up.

WRX makes a horrible taxicab, though. Sequoia, on the other hand? LMAO!

I'll agree to a point and only in general.

In the last two to five (2-5) years, off the top of my head, in no apparent order.

Really foaming a chassis. Upgrade your OEM strut mounts. Install your B13/B14 seatbelts so they look OEM. OEM-correct Tsuru/Infiniti HID's courtesy of Lightwerkz. And that is just my car and my silly self.

723 whp to the wheels turbo. Ashton.

Nearing, at, or over 300 whp NA vehicles. Cory, Jamie, etc....

Custom car covers courtesy of Tearoffguy.

CF lips for Sunny bumpers courtesy of Supercowboy (?).

3-point RSTB for B13's. Via Octotat.

Some kid is working on a new B14 RST-X-brace as we speak. New thread in the Suspension section.

If you thought about it, I bet you could come up with ten more new items in the last 5-years. Items we had never seen before.

This I will agree with whole-heartedly and 100%.

The Convention is centered around the cars, but it is really about the people.

I'll disagree with you.

Then again maybe I'm not a car guy.

How many times do you see a supercharger blow through the TB? Pretty much never... and I never once popped my hood to show all of my tricks.

I hate people, so there's no point in me being there.
