Looking at the map (so far) I'm kinda thinking Kentucky/Tennessee wouldn't be a bad place either driving wise..

There are lots of drag strips in KY but I'm not familiar with very many road courses. I have some friends that race scca but they're cone dodgers mostly. I'd even help to host one if we had it in KY but right now is a bad time with a new shop and a new baby. Maybe down the road a little.

Norwalk is 20mins away and a nice park around for the car show and picnic right on the river. Cedar Point is also 20 mins away and only 45 mins to downtown Cleveland. Nelson Ledges i about hr and half though.

As well, I don't care about traveling to another state. I will def. not try to miss one of these again.

Here is what Mill Hollow looks like, this is just an idea if it ends up in Ohio again. Lots of parking, shelters, room to roam, walking trails, ponds to fish, and a river.

Here is the hotel.

Tons of parking, right off the highway. 20 mins from cedar point and norwalk. Only bad thing is it's an hr and half from nelson ledges.

Cant figure out how to embed the damn pictures lol

freeloading is never acceptable lol. a couple of the guys here including me would end up being some of the people who would donate and i remember giving them a bunch of waters and hotdogs and meat paties for one of the meets.

people are always attracted to a free meal especially the californian sr20fanboys (you know who you are ).

Sorry if this is a repost, but to keep me from reading 33 pages of text has anyone considered Brainderd in Chattanooga? Looks legit! 1/4 mile and road coarse on the same property. Tons of camping on site and rental condos for you guys with deep pockets. Hotels very close by... I'm not just saying this cause I am so close. It seems as though you guys did alot of driving just to get where you were going to be "driving" and this cuts all the hassle out. Anyway, here is the link so check it out. Aerial photos and all. http://www.brainerdraceway.com/track-info/dragstrip.html

Too far North West.... Although I'm confused why you say you are close... Brainerd is in MN and you appear to be in TN.

You're looking at the one in Minnesota.

Brainerd Optimist near Chattanooga is a nonsanctioned 1/8th mile with a 1/3 mile clay oval next door. Brainerd Optimist Dragway - Information
