CMP is in the back of my head, but I would want to find a proper 1/4 drag strip close by to even begin considering suggesting it. I have friends who instruct at CMP all summer. bhowle on the forum is one of them.

ZMax dragway near Charlotte is an hour and a half away.

Dragway | Charlotte Motor Speedway

Both are closer to the road course than either of the drag strips we visited in Ohio this year.

But I hope indy is not to far for the East coast guys.

Not too bad for the MD crew. I had just driven from there wednesday night (day before the convention) at 830pm by the airport and was in my girlfriends driveway in annapolis by 6am thursday morning.
