I don't give a fuck if it's in Jersey, Florida, North Dakota or California. It could be in freaking Canada.

I drove 1,102 miles, one-way, by myself to get to Ohio. Right now I'm in a hoe-tel, somewhere in Bumfuck TN, or maybe Kentucky, I honestly don't even know. Hoping to get home tomorrow after 12-14 more hours on the road.

Ashton and his wifey drove 1,500 miles, one-way to Ohio. Wnright drove from Dallas, which is also a bit farther than my trip.

Where ever the next Convention ends up, that is where I am going.

CT. Car scene is big, lots of racing. Probably the biggest SR crowd in the country. And one of the communitys top tuners is out here. Last year was a good turnout and i'm sure members who came from out of state could vouch for the car scene out here.

Truth be told, the first six months you will spend at least 8-10 hours a week on convention stuff. 5 months out it will be 15-20 hours, and it will become more time consuming up until the final month. Starting 30 days out it will be a full time job. Still want to run the show???

Everybody can take a deep breath. The convention is not going away and will continue to grow and thrive. Myself in 2009; Mark, Jimmy and I last year; and now Rob and Louie this year put too much sweat equity into bringing the convention back to life.

Rest assured that there will be a convention next year. It will be fun. And you will be sorry you missed it if you don't show up.

This just puts everything into perspective. There's only a dozen or so people who could pull this off, and most of them were named in Joes' post...

Im down for whatever. Even if its all the way in Jersey. I think somewhere in the region of where it was this year is fine though.

Either way, like Shawn said, wherever it is, I will be there. This weekend was a blast and hands down an awesome group of people to meet and finally put faces with the names I see constantly on here.

Rob and Lou did a great job and the work that went into this years Convention showed.

Is there a particular reason you think there won't be a "next year".
I have had the pleasure of going to 3 conventions so far. I would have been at this one if we didn't have a son graduating from high school the same time frame.
