RIP VVL Another one goes to engine heaven

On the way home, another VE went to heaven. No one was injured thankfully but the engine was toast.

From the driver...

"A tibby pulled up, we raced, i grabbed second to third, great. Went into fourth, hit 2nd, and engine sounded like marbles"

It was rough leaving the guy like that but he said he would be fine. Can't wait till that beautiful B14 has a new engine in it.

Holy shit! I was thinking he got into an accident!

Engines can replaced a lot more easily than that beautiful chassis. But, come on, a Tiburon!?

Ahh, the old miss-shift. I'm sort of glad to hear it was that rather than the engine just crapping out. I know at least 4 other SR20 drivers who did the accidental shift to 2nd @ redline. All broke a few rocker arms, but that was the DE.

I do believe he did that at the track a few times as well. That is quite a sexy b14 though.
