Seriously, You must be running at a track with a short braking distance. Both tracks that I normally run at have 1/2 mile of braking distance. On my 137mph trap I still just tapped the brakes and coasted till I hit under 100mph and then lightly applied the brakes and still had time to stop for the 2nd of 3 turnoffs and thats with stock brakes.

What does the dragstrip in Ohio that we are going to have for stopping distance? I wouldnt see any issues stopping from 150mph even with stock brakes in 1/2 mile distance. Just wouldnt coast after crossing the line. Plus i do have the chute for backup.

Yes, yes I do. More times than I dont matter fact. My car hasnt seen anything less than 130mph traps for a long time. My last time out I was anywhere from 132 to 137mph still wasting a lot of acceleration time because I was still getting stuff dialed in and being easy on the shifts.

Anyways if Ohio track has 1/2 mile of braking distance I wont need to use the chute, Ill have no problem stopping comfortably from whatever speed I trap, even 150's and on stock se-r brakes. Now if they have shorter than 1/2 mile well 150's could present a problem without the chute.

And the vid of the integra wrecking from pulling the chute is because he doesnt know how to drive, and when I say that I dont mean the getting down the track part because he went 8's on a 24.5 tire and 67mm turbo, but finishing out the run is also considered driving.

Two mistakes

One - hit the chute after he crossed the line and was already braking

Two - continuted to hit the brakes after going sideways instead of hitting the gas to straighten himself out. Had he hit the gas instead, he wouldnt have wrecked.

Even just a blip of the gas would have corrected the car but instead he kept trying to counter steer on a drifting fwd car, lol. Not gonna work.
