Yeah I am sure you could have. Your car sounded like a beast. I wish we could have went on track together.

Had a blast and definitely addicted now after spending as much time as we did on the track. The ole 4 door held its ground out there for sure.

For those that didn't come, shame on you.....

Thanks! Giving people rides is always fun! On a track day I think it is more important to have fun and expose people to the track that have never gotten a ride at speed. I know I gave at least 6 people rides..... Sorry I wasn't able to get out there with you and Joe!

Your G35 looks super clean! We talked at the convention but didn't formally meet. I didn't realize you were an SE-R guy also.... It was nice seeing you out there!

Well, I'm sure I could have gone faster with more track time, but it would have taken a lot to improve. The 1:50 I hit was during a session I ran for about 40 minutes solo. So if you did 1:50 in your 2nd solo session, you've probably got me beat.

I gave lots of ride alongs too. I think I only had 2 solo sessions as well. Oh well, I have fun showing people how hard the car can be pushed.

Straight up you are very fast in the G... I am working on a video to upload. I let both Z06's past me and then gave chase, it is one of those laps that I ran the 150.2.

The second day I played with the line a bit downshifting to second through the esses before the main straight. Turns out leaving it in third was at least a second faster! My last session I tried braking at about 250ish on the main straight and spun off pretty good, that was the last session I went out...

We should have done the spec. rental time attack... I had a lap timer.... winner got free drinks from the other participants all night.

Yeah, did you see me woop up on Greg? I just thought I'd mention it one more time. So he can read about it again

He threw me the keys to the Sonata, and said "here, if you can beat the Mustang [V6 Auto Convertible], then it just proves the Mustang is a POS. So we went out on the track, and I was pulling lap times 2.5s faster than him in the Mustang. We got out, and he was like "there, that proves it."

Then I suggested we switch vehicles just to make sure it wasn't the driver, not the car. Needless to say, I blew him away when I was in the stang. Nobody was timing it, but I was *much* faster in the stang than the sonata. Greg got a little piece of pwnage that day

Boy, it sure sounds like we didn't have any fun at all in the heartland.

Or did we?
