Great times!

Those of you who didn't make it... You missed a metric ****-ton of track time and loads of shens...

Special thanks to Kieran and Ray for their backup, and to everyone from the dash who showed... We had a blast meeting new friends and seeing old ones.

Actually...

I believe the G35 was, because Michael in the G35 and me in my G37 were pretty evenly matched, and I was keeping up with the Camaro just fine...until the front straight. Actually, I think I had him in the corners by a bit. But I will say, when that thing hit the straight it took off like a rocketship. Made my G37 feel like I had a GA swap in it.

Keep in mind, he's only had a few hours' track experience.

Can't recall his name, but he was cool as hell, and once he gets some experience driving that thing, he'll be terrifying!

And yeah, Torry's G37 was hanging with damn near everything on the track...

Without a doubt, he's got the car to run laps around me. He just needs more seat time.

And yeah, the only 3 cars that I couldn't come close to matching lap times were the 2 Z06's and the Spec Ford. But apparently at least one of the Z06's was running 315's in the FRONT, and 345's in the rear. That, and a few hundred more HP than me, and I had no chance.

I still managed to hit a 1:50 lap time though, which made me the 4th fastest car out there with a transponder

That makes sense, my only view point was from the stands, so I had a clear view of the two big straights where he could punch it.

that camaro sounded mean.

fun times guys. this was my first convention. our group drove 12 hours. we will most likely attend the next one.
