Front End Damage Repair
A few weeks ago my girl rear ended someone. I thought this car would never see the road again. After removing a bunch of parts to get a better idea of what needed to be done I decided to the repairs myself.

The hood, grill, radiator, headlights, fog lights, bumper reinforcement, bumper brackets, fender, grill, bumper cover were all toast. The fender apron under the drivers side fender was crunched up pretty good along with the metal that sits under the battery and air box.
I went to the local Pick N Pull and got the hood, the metal that goes under the battery/air box, the fender apron, bumper reinforcement and brackets and a grill for $55 thanks to a 50% off day.
Today I went out and removed all of the mangled f**cked up metal.

Ordered a new radiator support today. Hopefully it arrives be next weekend and I can start welding everything back together.

How did the repair go?

I got all the bad metal cut out, welded the new stuff on. I am having trouble getting the hood and fenders lined up. I am thinking that the hood hinges got bent in the accident. I am going to hit the junk yard in the next couple of days and pick up a set and see what happens.

Yes, I got all the geometrical measurements from the fsm and made sure everything was precise before I welded. I will get some pics this evening and post them up.
