I am really thinking of getting some gas in a can and then driving until my tank empties or until the light goes on just to see how many miles i can get with my issues.

Does the scan gauge just take into effect when you are moving? like it takes the % duty cycle of the injectors and calculates how much fuel it is using but only when moving? Or some other weird calculation, i obviously dont know how it calculates so i am probing for info.

Yes to the gas tank, yes to the MPH. I believe it uses the amount of incoming air along with some other numbers.

It has been pretty accurate with Highway miles, not so accurate with City driving. Two days ago was Highway with traffic (worse then city driving lol).

I'll have to see, I might actually be getting what the scangauge is showing, just having a leak or something someplace...
