Momo Steering wheels
Anybody using a Momo steering wheel?

Which model and how do you like it?

I thought about ripping one out of a Scooby because of the airbag. Unfortunately I've kinda gotten used to living.

I've got a Momo Tuner, absolutely love it. Quality piece, no doubt.

Dude,it's just an airbag, not a nuclear device.Remove the battery cables, wait 5 minutes and swap your wheel. You'll be glad you did,Momo's rock.

That's what exactly what I was thinking. I don't understand why people are so afraid of removing them. Disconnect the battery, hold the brakes to drain the rest of the power, then start the removal.

No the actual removal is not the problem. Ive heard many stories of people in TX with my insurance company giving them a hard time with coverage. Ive replaced the heater core in the car and didn't think twice about handling the airbag. I just don't want to take crap from the insurance company. So i enlarges the slot on the steering column to make my wheel go up another 1/4 inch instead.

Well that does make sense.I was involved in a small accident earlier this year, and when the adjuster came by to look at the car,the stock wheel was magically back in place As soon as he left,Momo returned.

ABS and an airbag were optional items on my '93 SE-R. I optioned out of both.
