Thread: Motor Mounts Question ..

Ok so i got this kit off ebay but i when i got it on ebay it said that it will fit my car but inside the box had a sticker that said 91-94 but this is what i got so my question is, will this fit my car ? ..

It looks like it will fit.

I have the same kit on my car, but they were in factory packaging.

In your first picture, the center is the passenger side engine mount.

The two on the left side and right side are transmission mount and rear cross member mount.

The two on the bottom are part of the front cross member.

Do you have access to a blow torch, sir? This will aid in the install. If not, hacksaw the sleeve, chisel and hammer it out and press in the new mount.

well i have one of this at work .. will it work ?

Probably, it isn't a necessity, but it sure is fun.

If you do not have a press or the right size object to press out the old ones, do what I said. Hacksaw the metal sleeve, hammer and chisel the rest out. Be careful not to much up what will hold your new red mount and what holds the OEM metal ring and rubber piece.

so im assuming this is not goin to be a fun weekend for me right ? hehehehe i may go to junk yard an get the mounts out a B14 and take them to get them press in ..

I see I see .. ill have that in mind mand thnks, so this mounts are actually are goin to fit in my car right ?

I am only assuming since this is the 200SX SE-R section that you have a 200SX.

I also, own a 200SX. I bought the same set you have, but it was BNIB and even that said 91-94 mounts. They are the same, bud. They will fit. If they do not, you simply do not have the correct factory mounts to begin with.

just a heads up to get the passenger side mount bolt in you will have to cut up some of the prothane in order to have access to the bolt head. no biggie just a forewarning so your not like wtf

Thnks man, and there is any way i can use the mounts out of a B13 to press them in proffesionally cause i went to a yunk yard today but all i found it was B13's no B14's at ALL
