Front crossmember problems
My cousins front 2 bolts on the crossmember:
1 broke a long time ago
other back end of where bolt screws into, broke off due to rust.

So basically, no bolts can go into chassis.

We will try to extract the 1 bolt, the other, seems rust has taken 3-4" piece with it.

What are your recommendations?

We might have to extract the 1, drive it to machine shop and have them weld everything back in place.

Soak it in some sort of bolt loosener and use the extractor tool. You could also try to heat it up a bit and try again.
Otherwise buy a new one, thats pretty unsafe to not have all of those bolts in. Find a car at the junk yard with no motor and it shouldnt be that bad to pull one out.

sorry if i wrote it incorrectly, i barely passed english classes. my sat and gmat scores will prove it.

Its not the crossmember. Its the chassis or front brace. Where the two bolts go into rusted up. Would we have to cut the whole front end brace, get one fromjunkyard and weld it back??
