i went to a place here in miami. They told me $100 just for rear, bear in mind that I have no tint on rear window. I couldn't stop laughing and walked out.

So should I paint, get rear wing, or tint over it. I just don't want to be able to look and notice it. Especially since I know what was done, I think it would bother me. Anyone has pictures of these things? Email to me or post them.

Yeah. I definitely will have my windows tinted before another hot New Mexican summer hits. I hope to pay $200 at most. I used to know a dude who would tint a compact car for $100. I need to see if I can track him down.

Flat dries faster and sticks better to different surfaces. It also will not show the runs as much, Start off light and work your way up. The $.99 stuff at Walmart or Menards works just fine.
I would say tint the whole thing and get the vinyl sticker in the back window if you are concerned about it. It is easier to replace the vinyl than paint.

The guy who did my rear window didn't tint it. He told me to paint over it. I used some regular black spray paint (rustoleum I think) and it looked awesome for about 6 months, then it started to flake off between the dots. Thinking that maybe the sun was affecting it, I tried redoing it with some high temp paint. That is flaking as well. I'm not going to mess with it anymore, my 200 is ugly anyway. At least my Sentra doesn't have that dot matrix crap.

i'm def. not painting it.

vinyl is an option, but wouldn't that have to be on outside? very noticeable.

I wonder, could I take a razor and shave off those dots? They seem to protrude out.

Either way, I have 1/2" of rust begining to form around the rear window, I'm going to take it off anyway. New window w/o dots w/ light tint to see at night sounds fool proof.
