This is after doing a lil search on the engine called google.
Looks really similiar to me. Specially since i see a white wire going at the bottom of his hand, and see a white wire in this pic. I say transmission for auto like before.

Airbag wire to the computer that's underneath the console by the brake handle is a thick yellow wire, so it can't be the one the OP is describing.

I believe its for the auto shifter. Looks familiar my car had/has one.

Thanks all, it is in fact for an auto tranny. Do any of you 5spd B14SER people have it??

Yes. Its on all wiring harnesses. Like i said, they dont make seperate harnesses for each car. they mass produce only one kind. I had one and i clipped it to steal the power and junk. Normally if your car is missing something, they just tape up that part of the harness. or as in this case they put the piece down there, even though you dont, or never had a auto tranny. but if you ever were to go auto, you wouldnt need to get a different harness. everything is there.
