Thread: What Did You Do To Your B14 Today?

Bought a completely-stock beater 1996 200SX SE-R and brought it home....that's what I did today. The a/c compressor is groaning like a banshee, and I wish I could just remove the a/c altogether (I never use a/c). I went to order a rehabbed compressor and they want to know if the heat sensor on it is a clip-on or a screw-in....no idea, and I'm not a mechanic, so I wouldn't know even if I crawled underneath and looked at it.

Anyway, for having 211k on the car, it ran and shifted great for 120 highway miles.

Upgraded to a z32 fuel filter. Car seems to run smoother now. Maybe it just all in the mind.

Finally took it out last night after getting everything 100% fixed. It's soo smooth. Next step turn up the boost and tune.

Converting rear drums to discs.

replaced passenger side axle and front brake pads (autozone warranty ftw). Had a stuck slider on both calipers. Fixed those. Fixed the oil leak on my turbo feed line, and a long overdue oil change. Went to go for a test drive and turn on the headlights and the dash won't light up!

O well highway shenanigans w/ a sr20 240sx and a wrx was fun at least

went to the jy to get stuff to make a few step down and step up harnesses and ended up finding me







a pop charger for a whole 3$ O_O though it needs cleaned really bad.
