Ya, It has been a trying process thats for sure. Hopefully I can get it out of the garage this summer.

Ive tried the copper spacer alone and still kept grinding, reverse was the worse. I went to the hardware store and bought that 1 in nut the some handy work with the dremel until the copper spacer seated inside the nut, then had to shorten the fat end of the copper a tad. Had to remove the rubber off the end where the nut sits also. Has been working perfect since.

Well ususally with the spacer you use 1" conduit nuts as well.

Got my head back from the machine shop and can finally resume the rebuild!

last 2 days i been pickin up stuff left and right

Replaced my thermostat due to my engine running hot and blew my radiator hose. But its better now.

fixed a loose connection that was causing the ECU to restart between shifts.

Went to the alignment shop and got good news from them that they will give rear beam bending a shot.

Stiffened up rear sway bar and went for a drive. Also met up Andreas to pay for a motor. =]

Remembered that I have an armrest I need to install sitting in the back of my b14.
