Got one of the 5 window's UN-tinted. Thanx to Larry... I'm on a mission for some better tint for sure.

Smoked the tails and corners. Contemplating one light coat on the headlights to even it out a bit. They are black housing lights but it still looks a little off. any suggestions?

....yea..... take that off. Buy new corner lights and don't ever do this again. I don't care what people say.... this is NOT tint. This is spray paint.

Buy REAL tint and do it.

While I appreciate your opinion, I respectfully decline... I have seen plenty of tails done with this spray and they look fine imho.

I could of told you on this. The spray on tint works great for tail lights, can come out all shiney and nice. But corners and hedlights, it does not work so well. Trust me, the only stuff that works good on corners is stained glass spray paint u get at a craft store. And then u spray the inside of the lense. With the hits from rocks the front lights take the tint also gets taken off pretty good.

Thank you dan. This is what I was looking for... CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.... Something that is actually helpful. Thanks for the info. I will leave the headlights alone and if the corners become an issue with rocks (which I didn't think about) then I will get new ones and some film or do the inside like you said with the stained glass paint.

2 things..first, why not take the corner out of the car so you dont have to worry about taping stuff off? lol and second, why not just get some film from larry (tearoffguy) and do it up that way..some light smoke on the headlights and corners would look KILLER..(thats what im doing btw)

Yah i tried tinting my buddys headlights, you could see the cracks in the light from the heat inside the lense. Micro fractures happen in the lights due to the heat buildup.
