Thread: What Did You Do To Your B14 Today?

let's see, I re did the cooling system, replaced 2 engine mounts and took out the driver side axle, today I want to take out the other axle and put on my new rotors and pads and put in my new axles

Looks good. Is that original color?

Original color, not original paint though.. The drivers side is original, everywhere else has been re-sprayed at some point.. AG2 Aztec Red though..

Finally got some seat time to start tuning the audio system I have a show Saturday in San Jose on my way to Nevada state champion in MECA.

I am once again installing Tomei cams in my B14 and ONCE AGAIN the timing chain tensioner is pissing me off. I really really dislike that thing.

My lucino bumper is stuck in customs ....im probably never going to see it after no help from usps or customs.

I just wanted to say how much of a PAIN IN THE ASS doing a cam-swap is in our cars with that frikkin' power steering resevoir in the way to get at the cam sprokets. Also my cam sproket bolt on the exhaust cam was torqued SO TIGHT my neighbor had to hop up over the engine bay and use his legs to push on the wrench while I pulled on another wrench in the opposite direction on the cam hex, it was unbelievable.

Just a simple oil and filter change at 202292 , non eventful except for the drain plug falling in the hot oil! LOL!
