Thread: b14 wont start. buzzing sound from steering column???

driving my ve-t 200sx on saturday. this just shut off while i was driving. put a brand new alternator in it earlier that day and drove it at least 50 miles around town so i know it was working fine. i have power and i know im gettin fuel to the motor... car cranks over strong but wont fire like its not getting spark...ive checked all my minu fuses but need to check my fusible links tonight. and when i turn the key there is a buzzing sound coming from the steering column. real weird.. anyone dealt with this?

i have had this happen to me before, my battery connections were loose , fixed them and it went away.

Battery connections, happend to me as well.

Might be the built in alarm.I had my car with the same issue heard a buzzing.Went and locked the doors with the key and unlocked it and the noise stopped and it started right up.Figure just in case it helps you.
