me tooo. I had an old dakota at one point that was almost the same. Exact color I'd love to see on my b14. Here's my old dakota I speak of.

Electron Blue Pearl (EBP) has purple in it. It doesn't show up under all lighting conditions, but enough of them. It's more visible when parked next to a Blue car without the purple in it. Honestly, Blue is my favorite color, we purchased a '00 Civic Si in it new and owned it until it was stolen in '07. I would never own a EBP colored car again. Just didn't like the purple. If you're even considering this color, you owe it to yourself to see it in person... ideally under different lighting conditions. Too many photos (especially of Hondas) have filters applied to them that distort the actual colors (like the Prelude pic you posted). HDR in particlar is popular in the Honda community, which is a shame.

Take a look at VW's Blue... Deep Blue Pearl - much better paint color if you're going for that general shade of blue. Here's 4 pics I took of our R32 without post processing and with only a UV filter on the lens.

2 pics in sunlight...

2 in overcast...

satin black is a great color but not sure if it would look good on a b14. Those satin colors look better on newer cars. On a b14 its gonna look like you painted with a rattle can or the paint is faded.

Note to the OP
if your going to paint your car, remember that it will lose it value is painted a different color. Thats just how it is. If you plan on keeping the car for a long time and don't care then go for it.
