Imput shaft was fine, this happened on two different transmitions, I noticed recently that I only have one of the two dowel alignment pins. hopefully that was my only problem.

Yep I just put my motor together and was missing one and when I was asking questions they said.. 1 is as good as none.. And we have around 1mm of slop which will do that every time.. That was probably your only problem to begin with..

Unsprung though 6 puck for a VE is askin for trouble on that transmission. Way too much clutch for that setup..

Hell I ran 14.2 like 5 years ago in my 98 SE w/ STOCK DE no weight reduction and no cams.. 140WHP

You should def crack mid 13s on slicks just gotta learn to master her at the track. I was crackin 1.89 60fts on 22" slicks. ( B15 disk / JWT PP ) never blew one trans, My buddy blew a trans 2 times with 120HP 6 puck unsprung HD PP ACT. Not worth the $ and time.
