Thread: P11(?) to B14 Center Console swap?

ok, i saw another post a car for sale and took a look at link, it's a 02 G20. my question is that center console swappable ito a b14, looks damn near the same except for the spot infront of shifter and of course the console (bin) cover. thought it would be a good swap if i could find one, heres some examples of the g20:

ok i just noticed that the portion that goes underneath the radio is different than the b14's, is atleast the cupholder/ shifter bezel be able to fit if the b14 one is cut around shifter?

I was going to do it, since I have a spare dash. the problem is the dash is about 1" longer. Also the door panels wont align

i just wanted the piece thats from park brake handle up to radio area, but now i just want the silver piece since i see the b14 and p11's are a quite different. maybe cut and bond them together in order to fit

With enough bondo and dremel work, anything is possible....

alll that fabbing for an arm rest? just put p10 or p11 armrest..

Hit up the junkyard and try it. That cupholder would come in handy. I kinda think it won't work without some modification, but hey, you never know.

nah i dont want the armrest, just the silver portion that surrounds the shifter/boot assy, cupholder and aux. outlet. dont know i just think it looks much cleaner than the b14 setup IMO. but i got a plastic welder here at work, i can always bring it in one day when i have nothing else to do, and if they ask just give them the, "im usuing this for training" excuse.

The cupholder sucks as it's like 3/4" deep. It doesn't hold anything except maybe a can of soda. Anything else just falls right out when you turn.
