Replacing front brakes
Is it possible to upgrade B14 brakes?
Could you do the NX2K swap on a B14?
If so what do I need? I had a thread bookmarked with the whole procedure for B13s but I must've deleted it.
Anyone care to point me in the right direction?

Yes and yes.
There are several options out there. Have a look around. I have a Fastbrakes 11" setup on my B14. The NX2K AD22F front brakes work well too.

Those look nice but I am on a budget.
I still have to spend the money for new rotors and pads so this is why I was try to make a subtle upgrade.
I was wondering if I do the NX2K upgrade, is it necessary to swap the master cylinder?

No you don't have to swap master cylinder.

You will need NX2k Calipers, NX2k Rotors, NX2k Pads, and will need to cut the break dust shield a bit.

This will cost you around $200 if not more, if you don't like that price, then you don't need better brakes, stock ones will do even on boost.

Check RockAuto Auto Parts for prices. Some people order rebult NX calipers from places like Autozone and turn in their 200 SX calipers for the cores. I bought some used calipers from this list and rebuild kits from Rockauto.
if you can swing an extra $100 or so in your budget, put in SS brake lines.

That kit from Greg looks nice but...
I have decided to stay stock for now :o
Trying to resist the temptation of modding this one after all its just a daily driver... and if I start I wont stop, had the same thing happen to my other car started with just some new shocks, that evolved to full suspension, transmission, rear end, etc... thousands of dollars later it just sits on the garage
Thanks everyone for the replies
