I'd like to know too. I have a feeling it's just attached with like heavy duty double sided tape like the emblems are. If that is the case you should be able to use some fishing line or dental floss to remove it. My only concern is what it looks like underneath.

Cool let us know how it goes. I'd like to see what the paint looks underneath and how well it will blend with the rest of the paint. Maybe take some pics if you can.

I had a wrecked SER. Its more than doble sided sticky. Its almost impossible to remove and if you do, you will have grooves where they were and some industrial rubber gum substance. only do it if you plan to resurface the entire thing trust me. Oh and if you start taking it off, its trash. The molding pieces cant be reused and will never be on as good as oem.

edit: its the same gum crap that holds on the spoiler.

This doesn't seem like something that a (heat gun) and some (goof off ) handle though. If you shaved that piece, it would enhance the exterior appearance a lot though.

When you pull the piece off, it curls. Its extremely thick and hard to bend yet when removed, it cracks and curls. All i'm saying is that if you remove it, you have to do resurface the sides. Also if you plan on putting it back, you have to buy new side moldings(if you can).
