Clutch problems
Just finished my 2.0 swap and the only thing left is the clutch. The cable is perfecvtly fine but the lever that moves the fork/ throwout bearing is not springing back hard enough to bring the clutch pedal back up. I'm really not trying to drop the tranny for any reason. Hopefully i can fix it without doing so? pedal just flicks flat against the firewall. think its the spring on the fork?

check where the cable goes thru the fire wall , it should be tight to the frame , also check if the cable is hooked to the pedal, this is located on the clutch pedal itself way under the dash right behind the gauge cluster area on the actual top of the pedal

Flush and hooked up. It has nothing to do with the cable at all. I shouldt be able to move the fork lever all the way back by hand while the tranny is in place.

There are 2 sets of holes to mount the cable bracket on the trans. Check to see if using the other set of holes fix's it. My friend spent like 2 days messing around because of that lol.

You will have to drop the tranny. If you can move the clutch lever by hand back and forth the TOB came off or you did not put it back on.

Now if the clutch pedal is not coming back up then you have to much slack on the cable.

I feel like a duck! I never changed the GA16 cable out for the shorter SR20 cable.:o this and the bracket should solve my problem. anyone have these?
