Thread: MAF question....

I was installing a short ram today because I was really bored and I noticed that there is a second sensor attached to the MAF sensor, that goes onto the stock airbox. I don't ever remember there being a second sensor on my old 94 sentra... I ended up installing on the aluminum adapter just to be safe but I was wondering if you can remove it or at least what is it for?

Ambient Air Temp Sensor??

Do you mean attached to the maf harness? The only sensor i can think would go to the air box would be the air temp sensor...

Yes I meant attached to the harness... that makes sense, ambient air sensor... thanks!

Intake air temp sensor, just let it hang. If you decide to cut it off the harness, it will throw a code.
