Thread: Car wants to die or dies

when i'm to the floor at high rpms and push the clutch, once it goes down to idle it bogs below 500 rpms and either dies or sputters. anyone know whats up? i was thinking tps.

Sounds like a leak, after the MAF. It's not big enough to make the car run like crap, so look check out the connects and check for holes etc.

Another method is to spray break parts cleaner and see if your idle changes. Careful with this method it might strip paint or catch fire hehe.

Vacuum Leak! my car did this. Annoying to find. Check all your hoses. ALL

i checked all my hoses. it still does it. any other ideas?
