Thread: What if Nismo had made an SE-R?

Now that's interesting, the LSD didn't even occur to me... you might be right though, it would offer a nice upgrade and would of been fairly easy for them to source. Do you think they would of stuck with the DE or upgrade to a VE or DET?

and add a nismo lsd.

Anyone think about the rear JDM NX2K larger rotors. I think everything else has been covered.

You can look at N15 Autech Pulsar or JN15 Pulsar VZ-R. Same platform as B14.

I think some Nismo struts for JN15 was just rebadged KYB AGX.

I really don't think the car would of been anything too special just lookin at the nismo b15's. Though it would of been nice.

I just want a VE+T 4door B13 that is AWD NISMO'd out making stupid HP's.

JTstyle - I wondered about a rear brake upgrade. Is there really a good option for the rear's on a B14? All I ever read about are the upgrades for the B13. It would of been key for Nismo to retain or even improve the brake balance. Would that of included a master cylinder upgrade as well?

jagy - I agree that the Autech N15 and VZ-R are a good place to look for inspiration. It also wouldn't surprise me if the Nismo struts were rebadged KYB AGX's as other's have sourced them for their "sport" package offerings (TRD among them).

LOUROK - Perhaps your right. I was pretty disapointed with the Nismo B15 package and they might have offered something that mild for the B14 as well. On the other hand, Nismo seemed more performance focused back in the 90s than they are today. That is what I was baseing this conjecture on.
